Congratulations on your investment. Now that you have made the step to beautify your home we would like to leave you with some steps to keep your floors looking great.
  • Felt pads on the bottom of your furniture will help to keep them clean from scratches. We sell commercial felt bottoms at the showroom (small for $1.00ea and large for $1.25ea).
  • Do not move your furniture back for 24 to 48 hours to make sure the 3 coats have fully cured.
  • Area rugs should not be put back for 30 days.
  • Do not use steamers on your wood floors to clean. Too much steam may cause cupping. We recommend the Bona System or Poly Care for hardwood floor cleaning. This is a quick and easy 2 step process, simply use the dusting pad to pick up dirt and dust, spray the Bona cleaner on the floor (sparingly 3 to 4 squirts per room) and change to the cleaning pad then mop it off. We sell the cleaning kits at the showroom for only $30.00 and the replacement spray for $10.00.
  • Do not use cleaners for a few weeks.
  • Do not use Murphy’s Oil/Orange Glow Rejuvinate.
  • No tape on floor (even painters tape) for 30 days – it will remove the finish.
  • At least once a month, pick up your chairs and clean the felt bottoms to eliminate any sand, hair, or other tiny particles that may scratch your floor.
